What is there not to like about shopping at Pop Up Shops. Last week saw The Wool Booth at Ripon Cathedral. A fantastic sum of £23,000 was raised towards the Cathedral's Appeal. Tomorrow we are popping up at The Pheasant Hotel at Harome near Helmsley to join others in support of NSPCC Next week we are local at The Black Horse Kirkby Fleetham when shoppers can browse to their hearts content from 11am to 8.30pm at night - maybe with a glass of Prosecco Our final trip out is to Tennants in Leyburn for their 3rd Winter Wonderland Christmas...
During Wimbledon week did you know that the bright fluffy yellow balls are made from a wool mix felt cloth woven in Gloucestershire. Not that we're selling tennis balls but it is an example of how diverse wool can be:- #choosewool

The uncertainty over the recent weeks from Brexit and a General Election has taken its toll on creative thinking. Hopefully after today we will know one way or another and can focus again. Meanwhile I have just had some Polling Booth fun with colours, wool and my cabinet of friendly sheep.
Preparing to start a new internet store is amazing, time consuming but above all exciting. Photos have to be accurate and as do the descriptions. The wording of the website, which colour, what typeface, what fonts, - not to mention then the process of postage, assembling of the products and efficiency of delivery.
